Remarks: Very important piece of this rare species which comes from dispersed colonies east off Galapagos and continental Ecuador. From protected area and next to impossible to obtain, especially since this is a shell that always is badly wormed and in terrible condition. So this is an exceptional beauty with extremely crisp and frilly spines all over, absolutely clean and in near flawless condition with the delicate lip and siphon so beautifully preserved you may call it a gem. A great treasure for the very specialized collector, only one similar offer recently on the web. The same specimen is also on the items we sell on our EBay Account with username cecon14
